Local business feature. After playing for more than 20 years across various leagues in Kiama & Shellharbour, Keiron Duncan and Steve Emmett decided it was time to introduce the great game of Oztag to the Shoalhaven. The inaugural season was a huge success with more than 60 teams taking part across season 2021/22 at Vic Zealand Oval, Shoalhaven Heads. This year, they are offering a league at Huskisson in addition to the Heads. “We see Oztag as a complimentary sport to all of the winter codes such as netball, hockey, league, soccer, AFL & union. These existing teams can stay together over summer, develop new skills and have fun along the way. For adults, it’s a great way to stay fit with your mates over summer and enjoy a drink after the game. We will be launching our representative teams in the next 12 months which will give both kids and adults the opportunity to represent the Shoalhaven at the State Cup” said Steve Emmett. Team registrations will be accepted until mid-September for Huskisson & early October for Shoalhaven Heads. Games are Thursday’s. Huskisson season is Sep 22 – Dec 8, whilst the Heads will run from Oct 13 – Feb 16 with six weeks off over the summer school holidays. Fun facts. Berry region. The two most notable points with these stats are: 1) In the middle of the graph around June/July last year the amount of stock was coming down fast. The “number of sales” line imitates the No. of listings – when there is no stock to sell, there are no sales. 2) Towards the end of the graph you c an clearly see the market changing. The two lines start separating rather quickly over 6 months..
